11/7/2013 0 Comments 3 Steps to InspirationWhen we are inspired in the morning, the world is brighter. Life becomes more valuable and each moment provides more opportunities for joy. At the highest levels, each breath is an invitation to a smile. When I am in this kind of a space, I can also do service to others in the truest way. My smile can spread to people I've never met before. And I might just touch their day in a meaningful way. So what do I do to get into this state of mind and being? Now: I wish I could tell you I have a secret formula. Well, actually, I do. But those sacred tools are only part of the process. I might share some basic versions to give you a taste in these blog pages. But that is not the point of what I'm sharing today. What I am sharing is about living a miraculous life. Yes, there are tools. But our mindset and our prayers and our questions are perhaps waaaay more important. Our questions? What kind of questions are you asking in your life? Are they inspiring questions? What does that even mean to you? What are your inspirations? Are you thinking that your inspirations might actually be possible? If not, I can almost guarantee you that you aren't asking the right questions to allow the universe to deliver an amazing life to you. Step 1: Know that you are an eternal spiritual being and you literally can do anything. All the great masters that have walked the Earth have told us we are capable of even more than they are. Spirit wants you to fulfill your spiritual mission here on Earth because EVERYBODY benefits from you doing your life work. Step 2: Questions. Knowing that EVEN MORE than what you can imagine is possible, now you have laid the first foundation to ask a better set of questions. So what would you ask? Step 3: Continuously refining your questions about your life. Being curious and interested in your relationships, your work, your finances, your health, your spiritual growth and your highest service (also called your life purpose or your contracts with God). Service is your key to your own joy, AND bringing joy to others! As you refine your questions, and use a regular meditation practice plus a journal to do this, you will automatically begin to pray for what you need. Not down on your knees religious prayer (although that is fine if you're into it) -- prayer that comes naturally through the mind and heart when you have more awareness and are asking the right questions that will unlock your destiny. Extra Tips: All of these 3 steps must have intuition as a strong foundation. Contact with your emotional, feeling senses is so important in being able to engage with your life work and this process of getting inspired. Go take a walk in nature, and use your senses to REALLY see all the details around you. Close your eyes and smell the range of smells in the air. Listen to the birds, the insects, the sound of the wind, the sound of your own breath. Enjoy and have fun with your senses! You will clear your mind and get into your emotions more easily this way. Sometimes emotions can be misleading because they are filtered through your subconscious programming. But more often than not, your emotions will have clues to your inspiration. Like, share and discuss :)
